Job Description:
Charter Road Hospitality, Inc. is a hotel management company in Oxford, Mississippi, operating 4 highly recognizable brand hotel properties. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years hotel management experience. Experience at a Hilton brand and/or Hampton Inn property is preferred. Pay will be based on candidate's level of experience.
Position Description is as follows:
1. Ensures efficient and effective operation of the Housekeeping, Front Office/Desk, Maintenance, Food and Beverage, Special Events, Sales and Security areas. Oversees implementation of all Hotel operational and human resource policies and procedures.
2. Recruits, interviews and selects new employees; disciplines and discharges employees when necessary. Supervises training of all personnel. Evaluates employee performance. Conducts staff meetings. Keeps accurate and detailed documentation of personnel discipline issues, utilizing forms and procedures provided by CRH. Assists department supervisor to document thoroughly, legibly, and in line with CRH’s expectations.
3. Serves as guest relations officer for the hotel. Assures all guest complaints are resolved immediately, speaking with the guest personally whenever possible. Promotes 100% guest satisfaction throughout property. Ensures that guest related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company’s goal and objectives and instills 100% guest satisfaction objective to all associates.
4. Maintains a close, professional relationship with individuals and contacts important to the operation of the hotel. Receives and follows through on all letters, social media communication, emails, and telephone calls to the hotel.

Physical Demands: Lifting 20 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree. Reaching. Handling.

-High School Education, or equivalent
-Must be pleasant, poised, able to deal with the public.
-Must have prior hospitality experience.
