Responsibilities

Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment

Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos

Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment

Provide chairside assistance during treatment procedures

Document dental care services by charting patient records

Maintain a clean, sterile, patient centered working environment
Qualifications
-
Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state

6+ months of experience as a dental assistant
-
CPR or BLS certification
-
Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred)

Quick learner with strong problem solving skills

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Comfortable with software used for charting, records, and scheduling

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
