Duties
- Stock shelves efficiently using RF scanners and other inventory management tools to ensure accurate product placement
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport merchandise
- Maintain organized storage areas through regular cleaning, merchandising, and inventory control practices
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering knowledgeable guidance on store items including produce and grocery products
- Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks, replenishing shelves promptly to prevent shortages
- Ensure the store remains clean, safe, and welcoming by performing routine maintenance and sanitation tasks
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or retail store experience is highly preferred; familiarity with retail math and inventory management is a plus
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling tools safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and merchandising tasks
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse customer bases
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while following safe lifting practices
- Basic math skills for counting stock, processing transactions, and managing inventory records
- Experience in grocery or retail environments is advantageous; knowledge of retail sales, packaging, shipping & receiving enhances your fit for the role
