Job Summary
Established multi-location Marine Dealership seeks an entry level Marine Service Tech / Yard worker to help grow our MD marine service business. This role involves assisting our lead service techs in daily service and repower operations, moving boats, cleaning boats and general yard duty
Duties
- Move and stage boats for service
- Assist the lead service staff in performing service and new engine repower
- General yard work including bottom paint and cleaning
- Maintain accurate records of services performed hours utilized for both internal and customer pay billing.
- deliver boats to and from seat trials
- assist the service department with boat show set up and breakdown
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the marine industry
- Basic Outboard Engine repair
- Ability to work with tools
Qualifications
- Manufacturer's Outboard certification or marine trade school a plus
- Computer literate
- Clean driving record
- ability to load, transport, launch and sea trial boats
- A love of boating
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
