Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HVAC Shop Assistant and Parts Runner to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our warehouse, service technicians, and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations in HVAC parts procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Your energetic approach will help maintain efficient workflows, support customer service excellence, and contribute to the overall success of our service department. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain management, automotive diagnostics, and parts administration within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick up HVAC parts, equipment, and materials from local supply houses and vendors
- Deliver parts and materials to technicians and installation crews at job sites
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming equipment and deliveries
- Keep the warehouse, shop, and storage areas clean and organized
- Stock and maintain commonly used HVAC parts, materials, and supplies
- Submit and track warranty claims
- Help prepare equipment and materials for upcoming installations
- Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles
- Help track inventory and notify the appropriate team member when supplies are running low
- Keep company vehicles and shop areas clean and presentable
- Assist with recycling, scrap disposal, trash, and general shop upkeep
- Perform other shop, warehouse, and operational support duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60+ pounds.
- Prior experience or familiarity with supply chain management, warehouse management, or HVAC parts is preferred.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory control and parts sourcing.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, team members, and customers.
- Valid drivers' license and clean driving record.
- Dependable transportation to and from work.
- Valid forklift certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday: 6:30AM - 2:30PM
- Applicants must be able to reliably report to work and be ready to start at 6:30AM
- Because our technicians and installation crews start early, punctuality and dependable attendance are essential for this position.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
