Your Role:
As a full-time Dental Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and cared for during their visits. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, assisting the dentist during procedures, sterilizing instruments, and providing valuable education on oral health.
Schedule:
Monday and Wednesday: Albany
Tuesday and Thursday: Monmouth
Friday: Usually a half day and will rotate between offices
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the dentist with a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to ensure a safe environment
- Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately
- Provide compassionate care and educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment that reflects our commitment to quality
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus
- Certification: Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA) is preferred. EFDA certification is a bonus!
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a warm, patient-focused attitude
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
