Summary:
Assist the Director of Day Support Services and Compliance with development and implementation of Agency and Department’s quality improvement, intake and support services for persons served. This person’s primary responsibility is to assist with the Administrator of Department recordkeeping programs. This position identifies compliance issues, monitors, and performs ongoing audits to ensure compliance with program contracts, program policies/procedures as well as Federal and State standards, regulations and legislation, while keeping with WSC’s mission and philosophy. Additionally, this position provides indirect support to functional departments, supervisors, and employees. This position also maintains databases.
Essential Duties:
Assist Director and/or Day Services leadership to ensure program(s) meet the requirements of funder regulations, including the timely completion of Individual Service Plan (ISP) related paperwork, maintaining all client recordkeeping to external and funder standards.
Ensure that all client recordkeeping is collected accurately by program staff, Interdisciplinary Team (ITD), and/or external stakeholders as required.
Assist the Director with planning and preparation for surveys (DDS Licensure and Certification, CARF, MassHealth, and others), including attending meetings, initiating communication, and providing follow up.
Serve as liaison between WSC Day Services, DDS and/or MassHealth Service Coordinators and/or Senior Management and community support professionals in regard to quality improvement – clinical, programmatic, community relationships, as required.
Attend and participates in Interdisciplinary (IDT) meetings, clinical meetings, and attends quarterly DDS meetings as needed.
Ensure all referral and intake documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to service initiation, including verification of required forms, appropriate signatures, and informed consent in accordance with Walnut Street Center, Inc. and regulatory standards.
Assist Director and/or other Department leaders as needed for processing referrals, completing intake paperwork, and supporting the coordination of orienting new clients to the program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred - Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Public Health, Nursing, and/or 5 years' equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Committed to helping individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their maximum potential.
- Valid drivers license required - Use of personal vehicle to travel to/from work sites

- Ability to communicate effectively in English
