We’re looking for a PHP Developer with at least 5 years of web application development experience to join our engineering team. This is an evergreen contractor position with a clear path to full-time hire for the right candidate.

5+ years of professional web application development experience

Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in Laravel, Drupal, React, and Vue.js; WordPress experience is a plus

Familiarity with macOS development environments and comfort with Linux, Git, and Agile methodologies

Solid understanding of MVC, OOP, FRP, and RESTful web service patterns

Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL and MySQL

Practical experience with Lando and/or Docker-based development environments

Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, versatile attitude

Ability to work independently and take personal ownership of your work

Write clean, high-quality code across multiple technology stacks and projects

Take full ownership of feature development on assigned projects

Prioritize and resolve bugs efficiently to keep clients moving

Keep the engineering team and clients informed of development progress

Collaborate with fellow engineers to design and build new features and solutions

This position starts as a contractor role with the potential for permanent hire. Our interview process includes a Technical Skills Assessment followed by two interviews before any offer is extended.
