We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Misting System Installer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and servicing residential and commercial high-pressure misting systems, outdoor cooling solutions, and fog systems. You will work directly with our customers to bring their outdoor living and commercial spaces to life, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
This is a direct-hire employee position (W-2). We provide consistent job scheduling and steady work, while you bring the technical expertise, proper licensing, and high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Assessment & Installation: Measure job sites, review project plans, and install high-pressure (1000 PSI) and mid-pressure misting lines, pumps, nozzles, and filtration units.
- Plumbing & Tubing: Cut, bend, fit, and secure stainless steel, copper, or high-pressure nylon tubing along patio structures, rooflines, and commercial overhangs.
- System Testing & Calibration: Perform pressure tests, purge lines, check for leaks, calibrate nozzle outputs, and set up system timers and smart controllers.
- Maintenance & Service: Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical pump issues, replace clogged nozzles, clear lines, and perform seasonal system startups or winterizations.
- Customer Interaction: Walk customers through their new system, demonstrate how to operate and maintain it, and answer any technical questions professionally.
- Job Site Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring proper disposal of debris after every job.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensing & Insurance: Active trade license (Plumbing, Mechanical, or Specialty Contractor as required by local/state regulations) and current proof of insurance.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience installing misting systems, outdoor cooling, irrigation, plumbing, or low-voltage electrical systems.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with high-pressure pumps, line sizing, tube fittings, solenoids, and basic plumbing/electrical concepts.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to comfortably work outdoors in warm weather, lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and operate power tools safely.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Work Ethic & Professionalism: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Position & Pay Structure Details
- Job Type: Full-time / Employee (W-2)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend/overtime shifts during peak summer season)
- Equipment & Vehicle Incentive: Higher base pay rate offered to employees who provide their own reliable work vehicle (truck/van capable of hauling equipment) and complete set of installation tools. Standard rates apply for those utilizing company vehicles/tools.
