GMH Associates is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Sales Engineer to handle all sales for Pennsylvania customers. Position is Base Salary ($60k to $120k depending on experience) + Commission.
Mechanical Engineering degree is Mandatory. This person will be involved with contracts for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Multi-housing authority mechanical trades maintenance, welding, rigging, pump, motor and gearbox rebuilding. The position is sales-focused but occasionally will work on job sites as an Engineering Supervisor.
The main office location is in Trenton, NJ, but we do occasionally work out of town, so ability to travel (company covers expenses) and stay out of town for a week (Mon-Fri) at a time when necessary is required.
Job Duties:
General Office Work (Bids, CAD, Submittals, etc.)
Learning Sales Engineering, and the various types of work we do here
Sales Calls and Working in the Field (on-site measurements, etc.)
Putting Quotes Together
Must have professional phone mannerism, sales experience and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience in AutoCAD (or similar) is a plus. Must have a clean driver's license. Hours are 6:30 to 4:15 Monday thru Friday. Benefits after 180 days include Health Insurance, 401K + company match, Holidays, Vacation/Sick Time.
