While reporting to the Maintenance Manager as the Electro Mechanic, you will be responsible for working closely with the lead process technicians to coordinate machine downtime to perform routine preventative maintenance on thermoforming machines.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Conduct preventative maintenance on thermoforming machines.

Ensure that auxiliary equipment is operational i.e. chiller, compressor, HVAC.

Own and use all necessary hand tools required for maintenance activities.

Ensure safety guarding is functional on all machinery.

Work with lead process techs to implement downtime schedule for preventative maintenance activities.

Maintain a safe, clean work area at all times.

Duties include but are not limited to the above.

Have a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical systems and machine functions.

Be able to use machine shop equipment i.e. mill, grinders, welder, band saws.

Have an in depth understanding of compressors, chillers, HVAC systems.

Be able to read, write and understand schematics.

Be able to read and understand shop orders, various production documents and both oral and written job instructions.

Accurately record and maintain records pertaining to production.
