As Silly Sarah builds its presence in the United States, we are looking for someone to help capture high quality short form content for the brand.
About the role
We are looking for a Part Time Content Creation Intern to help film and edit short form video content for TikTok, and Instagram.
You will work directly with the executive team to film natural, engaging content in person, with some light editing and organising completed remotely.
What you will help with
Responsibilities may include:
Filming founder led videos, product clips and behind the scenes content
Capturing content during sample drops, dental practice visits, meetings or brand activities
Creating short product videos featuring the toothpaste, packaging, stickers and leaflets
Helping film simple dental education videos for parents
Editing short videos with basic cuts, captions, subtitles and text overlays
Organising raw footage so it can be easily used by the social media team
Suggesting simple content ideas based on TikTok and Instagram trends
Helping turn one filming session into multiple short videos
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone creative, reliable and comfortable filming short form content.
You should have:
Some experience filming or editing videos
A good understanding of TikTok, and Instagram Reels
Basic editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Final Cut, iMovie or similar
A good eye for natural, clear and engaging content
Strong organisation with files, clips and footage
Confidence filming in person
A professional, friendly and dependable attitude
Location and schedule
This role is based around Northern New Jersey and Manhattan.
Filming will take place in person, mainly around Northern New Jersey and occasionally Manhattan. Some editing and organising work can be done remotely.
The role will start at approximately 4 hours per week, usually including one in person filming session and some light remote editing or organising. Additional hours may be available depending on content needs and must be agreed in advance.
Pay
The role is paid at $18 per hour.
