MVTL is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Preparation Technician to support our laboratory operations.
· Prepare various types of samples (e.g., drinking water, wastewater, soil, feed, and food) via multiple subsampling, preparation and grinding techniques prior to analysis following company and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Maintain a clean work environment to prevent contamination, including thorough cleaning of surfaces and equipment and minimizing sample contact with potential contaminants.
· Assist and maintain proper storage, tracking, and disposal of samples in the laboratories.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and traceability.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Education and experience
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree in science-related field preferred)
