Cornerstone– Program Supervisor -Residential Crisis Services

Responsibilities of the Program Supervisor – Residential Crisis Services
- Responsible for the direct supervision of a residential crisis house team including: hiring, training, orienting and supervising crisis counselors, students and volunteers. May provide licensed clinical supervision to license candidates if applicable.
- Collaborates with the Program Manager to oversee coordination of care, including establishing relationships with outside agencies regarding referrals.
- Demonstrates the ability to teach and monitor use of stage appropriate interventions when working with clients or training staff to utilize with clients
- Provides guidance and assistance to Crisis Counselors concerning clinical and administrative problem solving and documentation standards.
- Ensures appropriate assessment, planning, coordination, linkage and delivery of services for all clients served.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of psychological interventions (Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy etc.) to utilize when working with clients or training direct service staff to utilize with clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Program Supervisor – Residential Crisis Services
- Master’s degree in social work or a related field plus a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience to include supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience to include supervisory experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree.
- Experience in Evidenced Based Practices and substance abuse preferred
