Your Responsibilities
As a Fabrication Associate, you will be integral to our pipe production and material management processes. Your daily tasks include:

Transporting loose or bundled piping throughout the facility and yard

Preparing customer orders by gathering individual pipe sections and bundled materials

Operating forklifts and heavy machinery while strictly adhering to OSHA and internal safety protocols
-
Setting up, running, and performing routine maintenance on fabrication equipment
-
Ensuring precise measurements and documentation of pipe lengths
-
Cutting pipe materials using torches, band saws, and other specialized tools
-
Threading and beveling pipe using Landis machinery and related equipment
-
Conducting quality checks using tape measures, gauges, and other precision instruments
-
Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace to improve overall site efficiency

Performing pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment
-
Following standardized procedures for the fabrication, assembly, stacking, and shipping of products
-
Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and ensure customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications-
High School Diploma or GED
-
6-8 months of recent industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication machinery experience
-
Proficiency with equipment such as:
- Pipe threaders
-
Band saws
-
Roll groove machines
-
Plasma cutting equipment
-
Automatic welding machines
-
Pneumatic banders
-
Ability to accurately utilize and read tape measures
-
Experience with gauges for quality control inspections
-
3-6 months of forklift operation experience
-
Strong mathematical aptitude for calculating measurements and quantities
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
-
Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting
-
Ability to follow instructions, demonstrate initiative, and uphold a safety-first mindset
-
Basic computer literacy to assist with automated machinery
-
Ability to handle and maneuver pipe between ½" and 10" in diameter
Preferred Qualifications-
6-8 months of experience specifically in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication

Experience in sectors such as:
- Auto mechanics

Farm equipment repair and maintenance

Knowledge of safe material handling and pipe yard operations
