Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely delivery
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to maximize sales and guest satisfaction
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth operations
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order accuracy
- Experience with food industry tools like culinary knowledge, kitchen experience, or host/hostess background is a plus
- Open availability for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
