Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression.
- Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest experience.
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, assisting with reservations or general questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure seamless guest flow and service delivery.
- Handle guest concerns or special requests with tact and hospitality-focused solutions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel or guest services can be a plus for hospitality environments.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
