The Animal Hospital of West Lake Forest has expanded into a 6200 sq. ft. facility that lies on the border between the two beautiful north shore Chicago suburbs of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. We are looking to add an experienced veterinary technician to our well-established, privately owned 7 doctor small animal practice! We are seeking a full time experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician who is compassionate, friendly, team-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients.
Primary responsibilities include:
Patient handling/restraint
Venipuncture
IV catheter placement
Digital Radiology/positioning
In house lab testing (Idexx)
Surgical preparation, including drug calculations
Anesthetic induction and monitoring
Patient recovery and release
Dental prophylaxis
Basic computer skills
Strong communication with the team and clients
Experience with Idexx Cornerstone a plus

Our Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-5:30 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am-12:30 pm.
