Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all surfaces, utensils, and equipment are hygienic and compliant with health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays safely and efficiently
- Handle manual tasks including weight handling in the workplace for food supplies and equipment setup
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs
Skills
- Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety protocols
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong cleaning skills to uphold sanitation standards throughout the shift
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with wine knowledge is a plus for enhancing guest experience
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on in-person interactions
- Experience with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
