Job Overview
We are currently seeking dependable and responsible Fleet Transport Drivers to assist with the transportation and movement of company vehicles between branch locations, customer destinations, maintenance facilities, and other designated areas as operational needs require.
Drivers primarily operate from one home location but may occasionally assist neighboring branches, regional operations, or nationwide transportation assignments depending on business needs.
This position may involve local travel, customer interaction, vehicle inspections, overnight stays, and multi-state transportation assignments.
When travel is required, company-covered expenses including hotels and flights are provided. Approved meal expenses may also be covered for qualifying trips.
This is a flexible, as-needed position with hours based on operational demand.
Duties
- Safely transport company vehicles between branch locations, customer sites, maintenance facilities, and designated destinations
- Perform vehicle pickups and deliveries in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain cleanliness, fuel levels, and overall presentation of vehicles when required
- Follow all traffic laws, company safety standards, and operational procedures
- Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and team members
- Assist with fleet movement and logistical transportation needs as business demands require
- Accurately report mileage, vehicle condition, and any maintenance concerns
- Operate various vehicle types including vans, buses, SUVs, and commercial fleet vehicles depending on licensing and qualifications
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a background check
- CDL license preferred, but not required
- Previous driving, transportation, delivery, or fleet experience is a plus
- Ability to safely operate various vehicle types including vans, SUVs, buses, and commercial fleet vehicles
- Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team members
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Ability to follow schedules, directions, and operational procedures
- Ability to travel overnight or out-of-state when operationally required
Pay
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour based on experience, availability, and qualifications.
CDL-licensed drivers may qualify for additional compensation opportunities based on operational needs.
