acuCyber is hiring a Systems Administrator to support a classified program. The Systems Administrator will install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot secure computing environments that support mission-critical systems and applications. This position collaborates with systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, network administrators, software developers, and government stakeholders to maintain system availability, performance, security, and operational readiness. The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing Windows and Linux servers, user accounts, permissions, system services, virtualization platforms, storage resources, backups, and recovery operations. The administrator will monitor system health, apply patches and security updates, implement approved configurations, resolve hardware and software issues, and maintain accurate technical and configuration documentation. The position will also support system hardening, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, incident response, system integration, and authorization activities.
