Position Overview
Our client, an aviation infrastructure firm is looking for a Field Services Engineering Manager to serve as the primary technical lead and field supervisor. This role oversees full-lifecycle project execution—focusing heavily on new equipment installations, advanced electrical troubleshooting, and ongoing field maintenance for passenger boarding bridges (PBB) and airport conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage and schedule a team of field technicians across regional airport install and maintenance projects.
- Act as the hands-on expert for complex electrical, PLC, and electro-mechanical system diagnostics when field crews encounter high-level issues.
- Lead end-to-end installation and site commissioning for PBBs, conveyor networks, Ground Power Units (GPUs), and Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) units.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within airport safety compliance.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years in aviation infrastructure, gate equipment, or industrial automation.
- Strong background in industrial electrical systems, schematics, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
