World of Wonder Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Teacher Assistant to support our classrooms and help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom activities and daily routines
- Support children's learning, development, and social growth
- Maintain active supervision and ensure child safety
- Promote positive behavior through encouragement and guidance
- Help keep classrooms clean, organized, and welcoming
- Work collaboratively with teachers and families
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- Associate Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
