Designer Decal is looking for a Graphic Designer / Prepress Specialist. Someone with experience with layouts and production files for our digital work. This includes fleet graphics, decals, banners and such. This is NOT an entry level position. Must have minimum of 2 years of experience with references. This is an in-house position, no remote work. you will be required to follow a schedule as we have a large work flow.
Previous experience with vehicle graphic layouts is required. Due to high volume we cannot accept phone calls or in person applications. If experience does not include this kind of work, you will not be considered. 3 references are required.
Required Knowledge, Skill & Abilities
- Up-to-date skill sets in Adobe Creative Suites i.e.; Illustrator and Photoshop
- Short cut keys in Adobe
- Everyday computer skills
- Turn proofs in short time
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Team oriented in a fast pace environment
- Dependable, self-motivated and organized
- Ability to maintain a clean working environment
- Ability to read, understand and follow work order instructions in English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with proficiency in English
Required Duties and Responsibilities
- Read all paperwork regarding job requirements
- Electronic file all jobs
- Follow work schedule
- Sending art files to production floor
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Experience That Would Be Helpful
- Ability to operate plotters, digital printers and laminators.
- Vehicle wrap production and application
- Familiarity with vinyl cutting software
- Familiarity with digital printing software (Onyx)
- MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Portfolios welcome but not required.
This position will require a valid drivers license.
