Red Velvet Studios is seeking Getty Images contributors, editorial photographers, entertainment photographers, and red carpet photographers interested in covering live events throughout Los Angeles.
We host artist showcases, networking mixers, red carpet experiences, themed events, parties, influencer gatherings, and entertainment industry events. We are looking for photographers who can attend events, photograph guests and talent on the red carpet, capture event highlights, and submit their images to Getty Images, WireImage, Shutterstock Editorial, publications, or other editorial outlets when appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Attend Red Velvet Studios events in Los Angeles
- Photograph red carpet arrivals and step-and-repeat photo opportunities
- Capture attendees, performers, influencers, actors, models, musicians, entrepreneurs, and special guests
- Photograph networking, performances, and key moments throughout the event
- Edit and organize images for editorial submission
- Submit eligible editorial images to Getty Images, WireImage, Shutterstock Editorial, magazines, newspapers, blogs, or other media outlets
Ideal Candidate
- Current Getty Images contributor, WireImage contributor, or editorial photographer preferred
- Experience covering red carpets, entertainment events, nightlife, fashion, music, celebrity, or influencer events
- Professional DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced event environments
- Understanding of editorial photography standards and image captioning requirements
- Strong portfolio of entertainment, event, or editorial photography

Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to document event attendees, featured guests, performers, and red carpet arrivals for potential editorial distribution and publication. Photographers should be comfortable approaching guests, directing red carpet photos, capturing candid moments, and producing images suitable for editorial use.

Pay: $25.65 - $30.89 per hour
