We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site protocols and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt to construction sites.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the dump truck to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials using loaders or other heavy equipment.
- Operate additional machinery as needed, including graders and bulldozers, to support construction activities.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic regulations while on the road.
- Follow all safety protocols on construction sites to minimize risks and hazards.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including dump trucks, loaders, graders, and bulldozers.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for performing basic maintenance tasks on vehicles.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.
- Ability to dig, build, and operate machinery effectively in various weather conditions.
