HR/Payroll Manager – Lawrenceville, GA
Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
We are seeking an experienced HR/Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing high-volume payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process weekly and biweekly payroll
- Review timecards, pay rates, deductions, bonuses, and payroll adjustments
- Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain employee payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Process new hires, terminations, garnishments, benefits deductions, and direct deposit changes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits
- Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with accounting and HR
- Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and taxes
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls
Requirements:
- Previous payroll management or senior-level payroll experience required
- Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll and timekeeping software
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience supervising or supporting payroll staff preferred
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred
Compensation:
- $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time opportunity
- Monday–Friday schedule
