We're hiring a Designer / Sales Gallery Associate to help create beautiful spaces and deliver an exceptional client experience.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a background in interior design or a passion for design
- Enjoys working one-on-one with clients through in-home consultations
- Can build relationships with builders, interior designers, and other industry professionals
- Has an eye for merchandising and creating inspiring showroom displays
- Is motivated, personable, and passionate about luxury furniture and home décor

Must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 weekends a month as well as weekdays for a total of 3-4 days a week. Wage dependent upon experience.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Going offsite to secure accounts, in home consultations for customers.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and returns.
- Demonstrate products through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and interest.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing shopping environment.
- Assist in stocking shelves, cleaning, dusting, polishing and organizing inventory to ensure product availability.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store operations effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in interior design and retail sales or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone is desirable.
