What You’ll Do
As an RN in the Cath Lab, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiac procedures. You’ll assess patient needs, implement evidence‑based interventions, and ensure safe, seamless care throughout each procedure. Responsibilities include:

Assessing patient needs including psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, educational, physical, and population‑specific factors

Monitoring vascular and cardiac procedures including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and level of consciousness

Managing supplies and equipment such as catheters, guidewires, PTA balloons, IV solutions, and interventional cardiac supplies (PTCA, stents)

Training and orienting new staff to IR/Cath Lab procedures, equipment, and workflows
-
Providing post‑procedure care, including monitoring and holding arterial pressure
-
Delivering safe, accurate nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation

Responding to call and arriving within 30 minutes when needed

Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
Licensure / Certification / Training
-
Current Oklahoma RN license
-
ADN required; BSN preferred
-
Current BLS
-
ALS/ACLS and PALS within three (3) months of hire
-
Moderate sedation training within three (3) months of hire
-
PALS not required for In‑House Contract employees
-
Basic computer skills
-
Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes
Experience
-
Experience preferred in Cath Lab, Critical Care, PCCU, and/or ER
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced procedural environment
