Essential Job Functions
- Clean guest rooms according to Marriott standards within specified time frame.
- Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities in rooms.
- Disinfect & polish furniture & fixtures; dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping.
- Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
- Present guest lost & found items according to hotel policy.
- Follow cleanliness protocol and sustainability guidelines for Courtyard by Marriott.
- Practice safe work habits, wear personal protective equipment and follow safety guidelines.
- Assist in other areas of housekeeping department when short staffed or high occupancy.
- Perform any other tasks requested by management.
- Greet guests when passing them in public areas.
- Able to work weekends is a must.
Position Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
- Able to work effectively in a team setting.
- Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds, and use of disinfecting chemicals.'
