Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Part Time Warehouse and Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards.
- Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, planning deliveries across local, driving routes.
- Manage logistics cargo handling with precision, including freight loading/unloading, trailer swaps, and container transfers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, inspections, and compliance logs in accordance with DOT and hazardous materials regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to ensure vehicle safety and readiness for each route.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or related logistics cargo handling roles.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulation, and safety standards for truck driving.
- Skilled in load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual techniques while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading processes involving freight or freight containers.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
