Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood standards and best practices.
- Manage school operations including staffing, budgeting, enrollment, and compliance with local and national regulations.
- Supervise faculty and staff through effective personnel management, including hiring, evaluations, professional development facilitation, and performance coaching.
- Oversee classroom quality assurance by conducting regular observations, providing instructional leadership, and supporting teachers in instructional improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance school growth, community engagement, and fundraising initiatives to support program sustainability.
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements related to childhood development, special education law, and educational compliance.
- Foster a positive school culture that emphasizes teamwork, inclusive practices, child-centered learning environments, and family engagement.
- Manage budgets efficiently as an educational administrator while maintaining transparency and accountability in financial practices.
- Facilitate staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops to promote continuous learning among team members.
- Maintain open communication channels with parents, community partners, and regulatory agencies to uphold the school’s reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in school administrative leadership within early childhood or K-12 settings; prior preschool director experience is highly preferred.
- Strong background in curriculum development with a focus on childhood development principles.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an education administrator along with strategic planning capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of educational compliance standards including special education law and childhood development regulations.
- Excellent management skills with experience supervising staff and facilitating professional growth initiatives.
- Ability to lead instructional teams through evaluation processes and instructional leadership strategies.
- Skilled in public speaking and community outreach to foster positive relationships with families and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of early childhood education best practices combined with classroom teaching experience in early learning environments.
