The Janitorial staff member is responsible for performing routine building cleaning tasks. Janitorial staff maintain company premises in a clean and orderly way by picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors. Candidates must be able to lift 35 pounds, climb ladders, squat/kneel/crouch, tolerate repetitive movements. ASF is seeking a candidate for daytime shift.
Primary Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Performing Housekeeping duties to include vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, dust mopping and wet mopping floors, furniture dusting, cleaning and replenishing restrooms supplies
- Emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
- Perform cleaning duties adhering to approved department cleaning procedures
- Keep building and outbuildings in clean and orderly condition
- Clean countertops and communal work surfaces
- Clean up and breakdown after event
- Mopping, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles
- Mopping, scrubbing floors, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets
- Removing trash and sanitizing trash containers
- Maintain cleaning supplies
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, according to manufacturer and organization directions
- Perform light dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and dishware cleaning, leaf blowing
- other duties as assigned
