Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising plans
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to enhance team performance
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability
- Oversee store operations including shift management, cash handling, POS system usage, and cashiering duties
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff while maintaining a positive work environment
- Monitor store performance metrics, prepare reports, and manage budgets to optimize operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and legal regulations
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail sales or store management roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, inventory management, and POS systems
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and employee training & development
- Experience with recruiting processes including interviewing and onboarding new employees
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for daily operations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
