1st Response EMS is seeking motivated and professional EMT-Basics, Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics to provide medical coverage for community events, sporting events, concerts, festivals, industrial standbys, and special events throughout West Texas.

Position Summary
Event Medical Staff provide on-site emergency medical care, patient assessment, treatment, and standby services while representing 1st Response EMS with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care within Texas EMS certification level.
- Assess and treat patients at event venues.
- Document patient contacts and treatments accurately.
- Coordinate with event organizers, venue staff, fire departments, and local EMS agencies.
- Maintain readiness of medical equipment and supplies.
- Ensure a safe environment for event attendees and staff.
- Represent 1st Response EMS in a professional manner.
Qualifications
EMT-Basic
- Current Texas EMT Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work independently
Advanced EMT
- Current Texas AEMT Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
Paramedic
- Current Texas Paramedic Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous 911 EMS experience
- Event medicine experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay based on certification and experience
- EMT-B: Starting at $25/hour
- AEMT: Starting at $25/hour
- Paramedic: Starting at $30/hour
