Position Summary: Coordinate and track all customers’ request for quotes. The Estimator/CAD position will communicate with Sales, Purchasing, and Production Departments to ensure that all necessary information is gathered and accounted for in our proposals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1.) Coordinate and track all customers Request for Quotes. Once RFQ is received from the customer, it is the responsibility of the Estimator position to track and ensure that the proposal is delivered to the customer in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
2.) Generate complete and accurate proposals based on the information obtained.
3.) Analyze information gathered by sales. Review with production to ensure that our most cost-effective manufacturing processes are being utilized to bid products.
4.) Obtain bids from equipment/tooling manufactures on any additional equipment that may need to be purchased to produce parts being bid.
5.) Use Excel spreadsheet to enter information and calculate proposals.
6.) Communicate to Sales all pertinent proposal information to be documented on cover sheets that are submitted to customers.
7.) Drafting in AutoCAD all customer parts that have been submitted for bids. This includes calculating areas, proper dimensioning, assigning drawing numbers, assigning die numbers, and including fabrication prints when necessary.
8.) Coordinate with production and maintain tracking information on all new product developments.
9.) Cooperate and execute any other additional duties that may be requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in Paperless Parts estimating preferred. Proficiency with electronic communication, Microsoft Office Suite, and Autodesk or similar CAD software. Proven problem-solving ability with productive curiosity. Good listening skills. Strong time management/organizational skills. High level of attention to detail.

Pay: $67,017.68 - $80,709.47 per year
