Lewchen Logistics LLC is a reputable transportation company seeking experienced Class A truck drivers to join our team. The are REGIONAL and OTR driving positions covering areas of CA, NV, AZ and UT for regional runs, and lower 48 for OTR
Job Details:
- Flexible Work Schedule: Help choose your own routes and schedules to fit your needs. For example optional 34hrs reset at home or every other weekends at home etc.
- Compensation: Sixty cents per mile (.60) for every mile driven, providing a significant income potential.
- Guaranteed Transparency: Clear and consistent communication about loads and expectations.
- We handle the logistics, so you can focus on driving.
- Equipment: 2016 Freightliner Cascadia 10 speed manual . 2021 T680 automatic
- On-Time Weekly Pay: Reliable and timely payments every week. 1099 Payout: You'll receive a 1099 form for tax purposes.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers transportation of dry goods.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety procedures and equipment handling.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) of 2 yrs minimum and clean MVR
- Valid medical card
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is required for this job.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking and transportation.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must pass a background check and a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
