JOB DESCRIPTION
The back-of-house team is responsible for preparing meals for guests while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. PhxBeer cooks must work at a quick pace while working together as a team to take care of all our guests. Being friendly, hard-working, and having a love of serving others while having FUN at work is a MUST for our employees!
Key duties and responsibilities shall include:
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food includes cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and salads
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Other duties as needed to ensure efficient delivery of service to customers in a consistent manner
- Move with speed through your prep list, line setup, and preparing food.
- High communication to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our guests and our team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Positive outlook and able to maintain composure under pressure
- Previous kitchen cooking experience preferred (1-2 Years, however, will consider education as equivalent to experience.)
- Ability to follow directions, and meet standards
Requirements
Food Handler's Card
2 years recent back of house experience
High volume experience preferred
Must have a great attitude and strong TEAMWORK!
