Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying industrial coatings, and ensuring finished products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience with industrial paint systems, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous industrial painting experience required
Experience with airless, conventional, or electrostatic spray equipment preferred
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and industrial coating applications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare metal and other surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and blasting as required
Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other application equipment
Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications
Inspect finished products to verify quality, coating thickness, and appearance standards
Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools
Follow work orders, production schedules, and quality requirements
Perform touch-up work and rework as necessary
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial manufacturing or fabrication environments
Knowledge of industrial coating systems and surface preparation standards
Experience using coating thickness gauges or quality inspection tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to wear respirators, protective clothing, and other required PPE for extended periods
Ability to perform repetitive motions and work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing environment
