Ujima Family Recovery Services is seeking AOD Treatment On-Call Facilitators to join our team!
Contra Costa County for San Pablo, CA and Martinez, CA
Alcohol Drug Registered Counselor required.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a stable alcohol and drug free, home-like supportive environment.
- Provides overall supervision and safety of the residents both women and children.
- Covers shifts for evening night, weekend, and holiday schedule.
- Role models recovery and sober living skills.
- Provides active listening and social model individual and group process.
- Provides emergency or crisis intervention and de-escalates situations.
- Provides necessary transportation.
- Maintains courteous relationships with site visitors and related professionals.
- Supervises cleanliness of facility and yard; conducts daily house inspections.
- Helps maintain fire safety and related health/safety guidelines.
- Helps facilitate mother's supervision of their children.
- Reads and initials daily log.
- Write daily notes in log and up-dates progress notes as indicated.
- Gives program's status reports to incoming staff.
- Attends mandatory staff meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:

- Ability to learn and practice conflict resolution skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Current and Valid California Driver’s License
- Minimum 2 Years in Recovery
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and typing skills a plus
Language Capabilities:
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking a Plus
