Maintenance Manager

Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a high-performing Maintenance Supervisor ready to step into broader leadership, ownership, and strategic responsibility. You will oversee equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and a small team, while partnering cross-functionally to drive uptime, safety, and continuous improvement.
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day maintenance operations, including scheduling, troubleshooting, and team coordination

Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians; build bench strength within the team

Own and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment

Partner with production to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal disruption

Manage outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects

Track KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR) and drive data-based improvements

Support capital projects, equipment installs, and facility upgrades

Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies

Maintain spare parts inventory and support cost control initiatives
Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

1–3+ years of leadership experience (Maintenance Lead or Supervisor level)

Strong troubleshooting capability across mechanical and electrical systems

Experience with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS preferred)

Working knowledge of PLCs and automated equipment (troubleshooting level)

Proven ability to lead from the floor while developing a team

Strong communication skills and ability to partner with production leadership
