ZIPS Cleaners is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Associate – Front Counter to join our team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly and create a positive first impression
- Check garments in for dry cleaning, laundry, or alterations and accurately check them out when completed
- Process customer transactions using a point-of-sale system (cash and credit)
- Ensure customer questions or concerns are handled promptly, professionally, and courteously
- Maintain accuracy when handling garments, tickets, and payments
- Support daily front counter operations and help keep the work area clean and organized
- Promote sales initiatives, new services, and company programs as needed
- For experienced candidates: assist with guiding teammates, staying on task during shifts, and supporting smooth front counter operations

- Customer service or retail experience (preferred, not required)
- Experience using a point-of-sale system and handling cash/credit transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours and lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be 18 years or older
