Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on daily bookkeeping and month-end close management. The Staff Accountant will support multiple companies within the portfolio, requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Support multi-entity accounting, including consolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the shared services model.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA license preferred (or CPA candidate).
- 3+ years of accounting experience required; 5+ years preferred.
- Experience with multi-company close strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks experience a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
