Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s and dementia by implementing specialized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment through routine cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Use equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, home health, nursing home, or group home environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality patient care and support
