Job Description Summary
The Software Engineer II is knowledgeable in designing and implementing code using the .NET Core Framework, with an emphasis on writing C# code. This role is able to work on applications from design to deployment with minimal supervision.
The Software Engineer II collaborates on software development tasks, including technical design and development, with business users, software developers, and management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Software Engineer II Responsibilities:
1. Write clean, scalable code using .NET Core in C#.
2. Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for programming .NET Core applications.
3. Work with fellow developers and assist users.
4. Design, implement, and maintain applications written in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and other languages as required.
5. Interact with stakeholders to gather and flesh out requirements for applications.
6. Identify areas where code quality is lacking and improve it.
7. Create a suite of unit testing for code.
8. Identify and rectify bugs within code.
9. Write and maintain documentation for code.

Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in a software programming field or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of 2 years of development experience using C# .NET Core, Blazor

Communication Skills
The Software Engineer II must be able to interact with stakeholders to gather and flesh out application requirements, and collaborate effectively with business users, software developers, and management on technical design and development. Must be able to write and maintain clear documentation for code.
Computer Skills
Requires full-stack experience with the ASP.NET Core framework, SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, and design/architectural patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC), along with knowledge of CSS3 and Twitter Bootstrap 5. Must have knowledge of MS SQL and other databases, unit testing, and Git; GitHub experience is helpful but not required. The Software Engineer II should have an understanding of Agile methodologies.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply logical and analytical reasoning to programming tasks, including algorithm design, performance considerations, and data structure calculations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to research, troubleshoot, and logically determine solutions to programming problems, identify and rectify bugs, and adapt techniques based on changing requirements.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
