Illuminate Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our exceptional team.
Our successful, privately owned practice is home to three doctors, five hygienists, and a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care in a warm, professional environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys building relationships with patients, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced office.
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting for a variety of restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain exceptional infection control standards
- Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral images
- Assist with patient education and treatment discussions
- Fabricate temporary restorations and perform expanded functions (EFDA candidates)
- Maintain accurate clinical records using Dentrix
- Support doctors and teammates to ensure an exceptional patient experience
- Help create a positive, efficient, and organized clinical environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience required
- Dentrix experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy clinical setting
- Passion for providing outstanding patient care and working as part of a team
