American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Acute care hospital setting — a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska with 407 staffed beds

Case Management unit
-
Day shift, 5x8 schedule with shift start times ranging from 0700–0830
-
Every other weekend required, or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule
-
Floating required between all facilities within the state to meet patient care needs

Charting via Epic EMR
-
No on-call requirements
-
Free parking on-site

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Active Alaska (AK) RN license currently in hand is required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred

Minimum 1 year of case management experience required
-
Acute care hospital experience required
-
Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

Local candidates are not accepted — candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

RTO is limited to one request of 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO

Block scheduling is not available for this position

Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
