Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative technology team. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, and CI/CD frameworks to accelerate software release cycles.
- Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and OpenStack, ensuring robust security measures and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Orchestrate containerization and virtualization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, and OpenStack to support scalable microservices architectures.
- Automate configuration management with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell to streamline IT operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor system performance using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and log analysis techniques; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Administer enterprise software including Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle Database, and related middleware components.
- Collaborate with development teams on requirements gathering for software projects; implement best practices for system testing, debugging, high availability solutions, and incident recovery procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in DevOps automation within enterprise environments; strong background in software development or system administration.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and virtualization (VMware).
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby on Rails; familiarity with scripting for automating deployment processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of configuration management tools including Ansible, Puppet or Chef; infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience managing databases such as MySQL, SQL Server (T-SQL), Oracle PL/SQL; understanding of disaster recovery strategies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP protocols; experience with firewall configuration and cloud security practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban; experience with incident management systems such as Jira or TFS; ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments.

Pay: $110,747.88 - $133,373.80 per year
