Overview
We are a family owned Christian company looking for a Lawn Technician to run a spray truck performing Lawn and Shrub treatments, Home Pest Prevention, and Irrigation work. Must be reliable and work with integrity. This position will require the ability to perform Lawn and Shrub treating, Home Pest Prevention services and Irrigation work. We only operate 4 weeks per month, and require a 4 day work schedule. Pay is a Day salary, paid weekly for scheduled days. Working additional will be as needed, based on weather, holidays, and other possible situations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate spray, power tools, and application equipment, to apply lawn care products accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough inspections of landscapes to identify pest issues, weed growth, or other landscape concerns requiring treatment.
- Follow detailed instructions for applying fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn treatments in accordance with safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Maintain clean functional equipment thats issued to you, through regular cleaning and basic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatments and answer questions about services rendered or available.
- Write clean detailed records of treatments performed, products used, and service notes for each property.
- Pass a state mandated 4 hour online class and quiz.
Experience desired but not necessary:
- Prior experience in customer service.
- Knowledge of Lawn, Shrub, and Home pest control, landscaping and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with various pest control equipment.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to the handling and storage of chemicals.
Requirements:
- We are a drug, smoke and vape free company.
- Must have and maintain a valid Florida drivers license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality is necessary for keeping this position and ensuring daily routes are completed within a reasonable time.
- A state mandated 4 hour online class and quiz is required to hold this position.
Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per week
