Expected pay for this position is $26.99 - $31.75/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Community Health Education Coordinator will assist with the coordination of activities, projects, and the day to day operations of the Community Health Education department. Coordinate outreach events and health initiatives as guided by the identified Community Health Needs Assessment, the Community Benefit Plan, and the Advancing the State of the Art in Community Benefit guidelines. Assist in the development of long-range strategic plans to meet the community health needs. Provide support for the organizational direction and priority setting processes.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate degree with 2 years of experience in community networking, event planning, community education, outreach strategy or a related profession
OR Bachelor's degree in Community Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Sociology or related field
Experience:
2 years of experience in community networking, event planning, community education, outreach strategy or a related profession
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: Experience in handling disputes and resolving conflicts in a professional manner
